Continuing our recent spate of reservoir / water trips... first Carsington now Grafham, I guess we might make this a future voyage of discovery in the UK, i.e. target all the campsites near "waters". Anyhow from what we saw travelling around Grafham water on the Sunday to West Perry for Sunday lunch the set up at Grafham is very similar to Carsington, a high level walkway, boating head quarters, water plant tower, the difference being Grafham has lots and lots of solar panels, good news and great use of land on the slope.

SUMMARY OF THE TRIP

Having packed in the week prior to the journey on Thursday morning we were well set. This would be the longest trip in the motorhome I had driven since having both knees replaced but the reality was it was not a problem. The only weird bit was after a long stretch on the M1 motorway and then straight onto the A14 having to slow down at the roundabout at junction 20 of the A14 after some 80 miles of continuous driving, my right knee felt a bit weird but managable, thank heavens. Onward and upwards is my moto now!!!
